I spent 25 years working for the UK public sector, as a content designer and strategic content lead. During that time, I was also representing members and leading negotiations as a senior activist in a local higher education branch.

I learned a lot! Now I want to empower others. I'd like to use my experience to help you. Here's what I'm doing now.

Content designer, team lead and strategic lead: in my career, I've been an editor, content designer, strategic team lead, mentor and trainer. I am passionate about content and realistic about the challenges that face content designers. Find out more about my deliverables in these roles
Union activist and branch chair: I spent 17 years as the branch chair of Birkbeck Unison. In this role, I was responsible for representing and advocating for the interests of my union members. But I also organised branch activities, chaired meetings, recruited and mentored branch activists, and took the lead on addressing issues such as workplace conditions, grievances and negotiations. As a spokesperson and leader, I worked to protect workers' rights and promote fair treatment.
