Hello! I'm Jane Van de Ban

I’m an experienced content specialist and negotiator, specialising in stakeholder management and engagement.

Over 25 years in the UK public sector, I moved from hands-on content editing and design into strategic leadership, where I led on big projects, while supporting and empowering my teams. For 20 of those years, I was also a senior union activist and lead negotiator on important changes like restructuring, redundancies, pay, terms and conditions. My ability to negotiate changed people’s lives.

In 2023, I decided to stop working for others and start working for myself, so that I could focus on the things I care about. I am passionate about content design and passionate about people.

I aim to empower you through training, coaching and mentoring.

What I do

Stakeholder training for teams

I teach content designers how they can master the strategy and tactics they need to manage stakeholders well and take the stress out of stakeholder management. This training is for institutions who want to upskill their teams.

Team training

Stakeholder training - individual sign-up

Not everyone has the luxury of working with other content designers.

I've developed this course for individuals to sign up to - it's group training, but designed to suit your particular needs.

I've been a content designer for both UK HE and the Civil Service. I've done it and I've recruited into both fields. So I know a lot about the content design profession.
